A Resounding Success!

21 January 2010

The Social Science Programme (SSWEP) is a partnership with the Economic and Social Research Council, bringing together social scientists and organisations together in the form of structured work placement opportunities.

An independent evaluation of the 2009 programme highlighted that 100% of participating organisations would consider using the scheme again, with clients praising both the quality of the students themselves and the efficient delivery of the scheme, greatly simplifying their task in recruiting suitable students. And according to participating students, they have gained real-life business experience, widening and deepening their skill sets whilst gaining relevant experience in social science disciplines related to their degrees. The 2010 programme will launch shortly.
